Accuvein was founded in 2006 in Cold Spring Harbor, NY. In 2009, it has made a name for itself as the company that launched the world‘s first portable and non-contact vein visualization device, AV 300. With the quality and success awards it has received one after the other, it has increased the quality one more level with the AV 400 model and has become the undisputed number one brand of the product type used in more than 4000 hospitals, now having a market share of almost 90% in the world.
The ability of a hand-held device weighing only 280 grams to show veins approximately 1 cm below the skin without contacting the patient, to do this within seconds with only one button, realizes the dreams of users and patients who are faced with expected or unexpected difficult vascular access applications. It provides reduction in pain and increase in patient satisfaction, increase in one-shot intervention rate, prevent intravascular catheter infections, and save time and consumables, with the proven technology.
